Farmers can book chicks by selecting the hatchery, breed, quantity, and preferred
delivery date.
● All bookings are subject to confirmation by the hatchery.
● Once confirmed, the farmer will receive an invoice detailing:
○ Order summary
○ Total price
○ Hatchery’s banking details
○ Payment deadline (24 hours)
● Payment must be made within 24 hours of invoice issuance to secure the booking.

Payment Instructions.

● All payments are made directly to the hatchery’s bank account listed in the invoice.
● Upon payment, the farmer must upload or present the proof of payment (receipt) via
the platform.
● NGEP does not collect or hold any payments on behalf of hatcheries and is not liable
for any disputes regarding bank transfers.

Shipping Information

● Chicks will be delivered by the hatchery or its agent.
● The farmer must be available to receive the chicks within 4 hours of delivery
notification.
● Failure to present a valid payment receipt at delivery will result in refusal of
delivery, and the order will be marked as “unclaimed.”

Cancellations/No-Show

● If payment is not received within 24 hours, the order is automatically canceled.
● If a farmer fails to be present during the 4-hour delivery window, the order will be
considered forfeited.
● NGEP reserves the right to suspend accounts for repeated no-shows or failure to
comply with delivery procedures.

Refund and Dispute Resolution

● Refunds are not handled by NGEP and must be requested directly from the hatchery.
● NGEP will facilitate mediation in the case of delivery disputes or complaints, but final
decisions lie with the hatchery and farmer based on submitted evidence.
● All parties are expected to act in good faith and adhere to the terms of the Uniform Act on Commercial Law (OHADA) applicable in Cameroon.
